Keyneton, SA
Set in big gum country on the road to the Murray River, Keyneton is a pretty country village of just a dozen or so buildings – most of them dating from the late 1880s.
A wander through the town will take you past a number of interesting buildings, including the former Temperance Hotel and the institute, formerly the Temperance Hall. Drive to nearby Henschke winery, home to the Hill of Grace shiraz.
