Illusions

Illusions catamaran sails daily from Abel point Marina at Airlie Beach, in the Whitsundays. Meet the crew and other passengers while sailing across the Whitsunday Passage. Indoor or outdoor seating is available for your comfort, and there is plenty of cover from the sun (or any inclement weather). Morning tea can be enjoyed over a chat while just enjoying the view of the surrounding islands.

Part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island offers excellent and diverse coral and marine life. Giant Clams and Giant Wrasse are just two of the many varieties of marine life that can be found at Blue Pearl Bay. Bathyscope (view the coral from under the tender – without getting wet), snorkel (all equipment and tuition provided), Scuba dive for certified or introductory divers, join in the fish feeding (a definite highlight), or just relax on the beach before boarding Illusions for a sumptuous buffet lunch.

Boomnetting follows for the fun loving, and a hot or cold fresh water shower is available for all passengers. Afternoon tea is served to refresh you before arriving back at Abel Point Marina. Illusions is fully licensed for your convenience (beer and spirits) and carries a maximum of 25 passengers for your comfort. Courtesy bus transport is provided to and from most local areas. Illusions is available for private functions, weddings, birthdays and corporate charters where cruises can be tailored to suit your needs.
