Mungo National Park is steeped in history and well known for having the discovery of Mungo Man and other skeleton remains, which date back approximately 40,000 years. Mungo is a part of the Willandra Lakes system, where remnants of its ancient inhabitants are being uncovered by the ongoing climatic erosion. Mungo National Park tour covers four main regions: * The Lookout * Interpretation Centre * The Old Wool Shed * World famous WALLS OF CHINA. To complement the Mungo Tour, an Aboriginal Culture Tour of Thegoa Lagoon is also offered. Thegoa is set on the junction of the Murray and Darling Rivers in Wentworth, New South Wales.
