Lee Farmstay, Kingaroy

Lee Farmstay is a 64 hectare property situated 15 kilometres from Kingaroy, and surrounded by wineries and cellar doors. The farm consists of a few acres of cultivation with the rest of the land being pasture. It is the home of many animals and birds, both wild and domesticated.

They have two newly built two-bedroom cottages on the property. Each cottage has a queen bed in one room and two king-single beds in the other which can be connected to a queen if another couple requires it. A sofa bed/lounge (fold out) in the living area is also available as an extra bed.

Both cottages are fully self-contained including linen and towels. There is a television, video and stereo in the living area, and a two person spa with louvre doors in the bathroom that opens out to view the television or just listen to the music. A microwave, fridge/freezer and all cooking facilities are provided including tea and coffee. Each cottage has a washing machine.

A wood heater can be used in winter and/or reverse cycle air conditioning in summer. Undercover carport is provided as well as a covered barbecue entertainment area (located in between the two cottages) is ideal for two lots of guests or families who like to have an outdoor meal and catching up.

An inground swimming pool and trampoline which is excellent to lie on and relax under the clear night sky and view the stars.

Our guests, especially the little ones, are welcome to participate in out daily activities like feeding the animals, birds and chickens and collecting eggs. Other activities include supervised four wheeler riding in the property or bushwalking in a nearby bush track, where wild animals and birds can be seen. Fish stocking in our dam has taken place since December 2004 for future fishing.

Each two bedroom cottage has one queen size bed complete with extra pillows and two king-singles in the second bedroom plus a sofa bed in the lounge for extra guests.
