Moolooloo Station, Blinman

Moolooloo and Moorillah Station are a family owned and operated sheep station, consisting of 609 square kilometers. Moolooloo is nestled 20 kilometres north west of Blinman and 30 kilometres north east of Parachilna in the heart of the Flinders Ranges.

Moolooloo’s attractions include, historic Nuccaleena Copper Mine, Hannigan’s Gap, public access routes, Aboriginal carvings, gorges, natural springs and mountainous terrain. These local tourist attractions are easily accessible by four wheel drive vehicle.

The Moolooloo Shearer’s Quarters can accommodate up to 20 people comfortably. It is situated on the banks of Moolooloo Creek lined with magnificent red gums. We have newly built family bathrooms, toilets and laundry. Our kitchen is well equipped with large wood stove, gas stove, microwave and fridges. Dining room adjoining kitchen is suitable for large groups. Undercover slated area is ideal for entertaining with barbecue and wood fire box. 240 volt generator power.

Blinman Hut accommodates two to four comfortably. Situated only one hour’s four wheel drive vehicle journey from the homestead, nestled on the banks of a creek, surrounded by hills and native pines, quaintly serene. Exclusive access to guests. The hut is ideal for larger camping/walking groups using hut for bathroom, kitchen and storage facilities. The hut has an indoor shower and toilet and also an outdoor toilet. It has a wood stove, sink and dining table. Basic equipment for four. Outdoor barbecue and bonfire facilities provided.
