Madisons Mountain Retreat, Kurrajong Heights

So close to Sydney (just one hour’s drive), yet so far away from everything. This idyllic retreat is set on 83 acres, next to Wollemi National Park, in the Hawkesbury Highlands (high enough to have the clean mountain air, but it doesn’t get really cold). Eight self-contained cabins, with log fire, kitchenette and television. Two uniquely refurbished train carriages for that special adventure.

Wheelchair access, indoor solar heated pool, spa, tennis courts, barbecue area, bushwalking, affordable bed and breakfast, children welcome. Alpacas to feed and watch.
