Whether you choose to target Bream on lures around the shoreline structures using light spin gear, lure Flathead off the flats, or up size the gear and try for an elusive Jewfish on a lure, the Sydney Harbour and Hawkesbury River systems provide some great lure casting opportunities.

Estuary Lure Casting

Slip into stealth mode and sneak around the shoreline structures flicking small lures for Bream using light spin gear. The Parramatta River offers rocky shorelines, bridge pylons, moored vessels and barges, wharves, floating pontoons and the sand and mud flats, all of which are favoured haunts of the Bream at different times. Depending on the conditions and the duration of your charter we will visit a selection of these locations using mainly soft plastic lures.

Alternatively, the beautiful surrounds of Cowan Creek on the Hawkesbury River offer a more pleasant fishing experience. After starting at Bobbin Head, cruise down the creek admiring the scenery. Then bounce soft plastics down the steep rocky shorelines while gliding along enjoying the silence. The most relaxing fishing experience.

While Bream on Lures is our specialty, we also offer Lure Casting for Flathead and Jewfish.

Other locations include the Hawkesbury River and the Lane Cove River.
