Touring Options

The Hervey Bay Experience

Departing from Hervey Bay Airport we travel north to Gatakers Bay where we follow the coast south along the esplanade, showcasing the township of Hervey Bay and the Hervey Bay Marina, south to River Heads before returning back to the airport.

Beach and Marine Flight

Fly over the amazing Fraser Coast and head south over River Heads to the town of Maaroom, situated midway down the great Sandy Straights. Keep your eyes open and cameras poised, as it is highly likely that you will see Dugongs, Turtles and an abundance of other marine life in this beautiful area. Enjoy a gentle arrival back to Hervey Bay airport to complete your experience.

Fly the Great Sandy Straight

This tour aims to show the Great Sandy Strait in its stunning glory. Taking you south past River Heads and Maaroom Township we continue to Kauri Creek, just north of Tin Can Bay prior to returning to Hervey Bay Airport. This trip allows ample time to look for the abundant sea life that calls this majestic area home. Depending on the season, Dugongs, Turtles, Dolphins and a large array of birdlife can be spotted from the air. You have not experienced the true beauty of the Fraser Coast until you have seen this stunning section of coastline.
