Surfpoint Resort, Margaret River

Surfpoint Resort was nominated as best Western Australian backpacker accommodation in 2003 is located 10 minutes from the Margaret River town centre in the South West region, just a short stroll from the famous surfing beaches.

The purpose built resort was completed in 1996 and accommodates up to 70 guests in a wide variety of modern rooms with customer focused facilities. The resort offers the very best value beachside accommodation in the Margaret River region, situated just 500 metres from Gnarabup Beach and surrounded by bush land with its abundant bird life.

We offer an extended selection of superior accommodation for everyone who enjoys the backpacker experience from multi-share, dormitory style accommodation to double rooms with en-suite, television, video recorder, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have good quality beds and fittings, and all the bedding is provided.

The resort is well known for its modern, clean facilities, its extensive amenities and the ultra friendly service. It can also accommodate small groups.

The Lonely Planet Guide says ‘One of the nicest backpackers you could hope to stay in the Surfpoint Lodge on Riedle at Gnarabup Beach. In addition to the plus of its beachside location, the place has an air of class. It has a large fully equipped kitchen and many recreation areas – surfers will love the theme.’
