Del Rio Apartments, Mission Beach

Del Rio on the Beach are two bedroom self-contained apartments situated at Mission Beach which is on the Eastern seaboard, 150 kilometres south of Cairns and one of the closest resort towns to the Great Barrier Reef. Home to one of Australia’s rarest flightless birds, the cassowary, famous for the Ulysses butterfly and countless frogs and birds, Mission Beach is surrounded by rainforest and lush tropical jungle, a virtual paradise to explore.

The apartment complex has an undercover saltwater pool and barbecue with huge outdoor entertainment areas. The apartments are set in tropical gardens and are adjacent to a swimming enclosure at the beach and close to the ferry to Dunk Island, fishing and reef charter and some great restaurants.

In each apartment there are two bedrooms, a kitchen/laundry and television and DVD player.

Mission Beach is the centre of extreme sport, skydiving, white water rafting, kayaking, outriggers, sailing, fishing – game or reef, and of course just relaxing.

Take a break in tropical paradise.

Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
