Skydive Airlie Beach

Tandem skydive is located at the Whitsunday Airport Shute Harbour, it is surrounded by Conway National Park and the well known Whitsunday Islands. The airport is only two minutes drive from Airlie Beach, which means you don’t need a full day if you would like to go for a skydive. The courtesy bus will pick you up from your accommodation and will drop you back within one and a half to three hours.

The airport is very close to the ocean with Shute Harbour at one end and a sandy beach at the other, also known as Funnel Bay. As you take off from the airport the view of the Whitsunday Islands, Airlie Beach, Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef come into view immediately and they don’t disappear until you land back at the airport under your parachute.

With views so beautiful it is a bonus to have a video when you do a skydive. But if for any reason you don’t get a video, take your camera along and take advantage of the awesome and beautiful flight over the Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef.

The crew make a big part of the experience of a skydive in Airlie Beach, most of them being current or ex-world and Australian champions, some of them having gold medals. They all have between 5000 and 12000 skydives and some have been part of the sport for more than 20 years.

Your skydive is personal with only two passengers per load and you have the option to jump from the base 8000 feet up to an extreme 14000 feet. The brilliant camera crew are always on hand if you want a video, DVD or photographs of your experience.
