Nymboida Coaching Station Inn, Nymboida

The Nymboida Coaching Station Inn was built on the Armidale mail run one hundred years ago. It overlooks the Nymboida River and is the jump off point for many rafting tours.

Richard Craig, who blazed a trail between Armidale and the Clarence district, opened up the Nymboida area in the 1830’s and today the four-star Nymboida Coaching Inn maintains the charm (with updated facilities!) from when it served as a staging post for the Cobb and Co era.

The Coaching Station Inn is now a fully licensed hotel with luxury colonial-style accommodation, bunkhouses for groups, elegant restaurant and popular bistro

During your stay at the coaching station inn, the 16 acres here offer instant relaxation upon arrival, although if its action you want there are plenty of activities in the immediate area including white water rafting, fishing or a peace ful river cruise where you have every chance of seeing a platypus in the wild.

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes. Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
