Tasman House is opposite Reddall Reserve, Lake Illawarra entrance and the Tasman Sea with a short walk to Warilla surf beach. The reserve has small sandy beaches at the lagoon and cycle tracks which run along most of the lake foreshore and Warilla Beach. There are bbq areas with picnic tables under cover.
Enjoy beautiful 180 degree views sweeping from the mountains in the West to the Sea in the East, with majestic Norfolk Pine trees in the foreground. Views are from open plan lounge, kitchen dining area & 2 bedrooms.
Tasman House comprises a 3 bedroom apartment & ground floor large motel/style bedsitter.
Linen, towels, thermal blankets, doonas and electric blankets are supplied.
Tea, coffee, sugar and some toiletries are provided.
Tasman House has air-conditioning, a fully equipped Tasmanian Oak kitchen with dishwasher, TV,DVD,Video and sound system, bbq in large rear yard and courtyard.
Balconies are fully enclosed, the rear balcony having a safety gate.
There are many interesting things to do in this lovely region:
Water sports, cycling, theatre, art galleries, street cafes, rainforest walks, drive to wineries or take graded adventure tours which can include anything from a quiet canoe trip to mountain bike riding, rock-climbing or shooting the rapids on the glorious Shoalhaven River. There are deep water diving lessons. You can try hang-gliding (lessons available) or go to our nearby regional airport and take a microflight (motorised hang-gliding). You can book escorted Harley motorbike rides or simply relax in this lovely, quiet beachfront location.
