Mittagong Motel,

The Mittagong Motel is a traditional Australian Motel, extensively and beautifully renovated to offer you the most modern comfort during your stay.
The Mittagong Motel of course offers you a choice of cooked country breakfasts, plus the bonus of our own Bistro with a la carte menu and cosy fireplace – or meals served in your room.
The Mittagong Motel has 29 Ground Floor Units with large bathrooms, neat and elegant fittings, quality bed linen, and sofas and easy chairs.
There are also family units with queen/twin/triple beds to suit a family of four, or queen and single beds suitable for up to 3 in the other rooms.
All rooms have reverse cycle air-conditioning, electric blankets, TV, refrigerator, direct dial telephones, and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Mittagong Motel has off-street parking (ideally suited for coaches), and is within walking distance to the town center, and golf, bowling, and service clubs.

At the Mittagong Motel we have a range of tour packages:
overnight golf stay
day trips
or a week’s accommodation and exploring holiday around the beautiful Southern Highlands.
Group bookings, social clubs, and pensioners’ groups a specialty.
We have a range of tour packages in our air-conditioned mini-coach:

– 5 nights/6 days packages inc. accommodation, entry fees, and all meals at the motel

– single or multiple day trips during the week (Monday to Thursday) Try our Golf Package – overnight stay with all meals, and a day of golf on one of the Highlands’ best golf courses.
Tour plus accomodation packages normally commence on Sundays and are run daily from Monday to Thursday. We can also arrange alternate packages for any tour groups.
The “A” Tour:

Day 1: To Mt. Annan Botanical Gardens and Burragorang Lookout; we tour through the off-highway towns of Picton, Camden, and Thirlmere (Railway Museum).
Day 2: To historic Berrima, with a visit to the Courthouse museum and dozens of Arts & Craft shops; Moss Vale and Bowral, including a visit to the famous Bradman Museum.
Day 3: Our Southern Highlands Countryside tour takes in the beautiful Robertson area; here we bisit Farmgate Lavender Farm and take in spectacular scenery all the way to the coast. Other highlights are visits to Belmore and Fitzroy Falls.
Day 4: The quaint villages of Bundanoon and Exeter are visited en route to the beautiful Kangaroo Valley, then down to the coastal towns of Berry and Kiama

The “B” Tour:

Day 1: We go to join the famous “Cockatoo Run”, from Port Kembla to Robertson on the 3801 steam train, with breathtaking coastal and rainforest views.
Day 2: Visit historic Goulburn, and its many varied attractions in the Southern Tablelan
Day 3: Historic Joadja, Australia’s abandoned shale oil town, which flourished at the turn of the century, only to disappear in the mists of time.
Day 4: The Minamurra Rainforest – a virtually untouched wilderness area. This must rank as one of the state’s most beautiful spots.
