Set on absolute waterfront on the shores of Lake Macquarie, Catalina Cottage offers idyllic self-contained accommodation for a relaxing family holiday or weekend getaway. Set amongst the trees next to a natural bushland reserve on beautiful Fishing Point, the Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions of Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley, or just for doing nothing at all.

The air conditioned cottage has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area with polished floors and a log fire, spacious timber decks with a gas barbecue, and sleeps 5-7 people.
The living areas and bedrooms open onto the deck and all rooms have panoramic views over Eraring Bay.

The cottage has off-street parking, duck-down doonas on the beds, TV, video, laundry and ironing facilities. The private jetty accommodates yachts of up to six-foot draft for pick up and set down of passengers; suitable for mooring power boats in most weathers. The cottage is 3 minutes from local shops, and 2 minutes from the public boat ramp.

Lake Macquarie is a majestic waterway just over an hour’s drive north of Sydney and 30 minutes from the thriving city of Newcastle. The area offers excellent boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, bushwalking & picnicking, and is just 40 minutes away from the Hunter Valley wineries, and 30 minutes from the renowned Watagans National Park.
