Bendalong Point Tourist Park, Bendalong
The park is located at Red Point – first named by Captain Cook during his discovery of Australia. The idyllic bushland setting is a sanctuary for a wide range of bird and animal life. The park has its own lawn bowling green, volleyball and table tennis facilities, whilst modern playgrounds are also provided for children. A large boat ramp is adjacent to the park and is popular with fishermen. Safe, almost wave-free swimming in boat harbour and Washerwoman’s beach contrasted with Inyadda beach – a ‘mecca’ for surfers.
