Breakers Holiday Park, Caves Beach

The Breakers Holiday Park is a beach front park which is part of the coastline stretching from Swansea Heads to the caves of Caves Beach, ideal for family holidays and hide-away weekends.

The park is situated just two hours drive north of Sydney, with the largest inland salt water lake in Australia as a key attraction that provides a venue for all water sports.

A variety of cabins to suit all budgets and tastes are available, as well as powered and unpowered camping and caravan sites. From budget cabins with no toilet and shower, to basic ensuite cabins ideal for the passing traveller, to luxury beach front villas designed for the family with plenty of space and extra facilities.

Accommodation Options

Bungalows

The bungalows are what we like to call a step up from camping. They are a small open plan cabin with a double bed, set of bunks and cooking facilities. The amenities block is only 100m away, with coin-operated showers for your convenience. The bungalows are ideal for those not wanting the harshness of camping, but not looking for absolute luxury.

Vacationers

The vacationers are another step up from camping. Of open plan setup with no toilet and shower, the vacationers are an ideal cabin for a family on a budget or just those over the camping thing. The vacationers consist of a trio bunk (double bed below and a single above it) and a set of standard bunks, limited cooking facilities (microwave, electric frypan, kettle, toaster), dining table and a foam lounge. The large verandah is perfect for the family lunch or sitting to read the paper.

Ensuite Cabins

The ensuite cabins are an ideal style of accommodation for the passing travelling or the couple looking for a weekend away. With a double bed, small framed set of bunks suitable for children under 12, small bathroom and kitchen with cooking facilities, the ensuite cabins are a stylish yet cheap style of accommodation. These cabins also have a large verandah for you to sit out and enjoy the sun and sea air.

Cedar Cabins

Our cedar cabins are an ideal choice for a small family or couple wanting the comfort and facilities of cabin living, all at a reasonable price. All cedar cabins have a large verandah for you to sit and enjoy the view and sea breeze. The cabin consists of a double bed in a separate room, a set of bunks in the passageway, bathroom, kitchen with full cooking facilities and the dining area with lounge and dining table. There are nine cedar cabins, three of which have queen size beds instead of the standard double.

Family Cabins

Suitable for families, the family cabins have a double bed in a separate, set of triple bunks in the passageway, bathroom and kitchen with full cooking facilities. The dining/kitchen area has a 2-seater lounge for you to relax and read the paper, while enjoying views of the water out the front door.

Beach Front Villas

Consisting of two separate bedrooms, the first containing a queen size bed and the second containing two sets of bunks, the Beach Front Villas are ideal for families of all sizes. A two-way bathroom with the toilet, shower and washing machine separates the bedrooms. The kitchen consists of modern appliances, with a convection microwave, glass cook top, cutlery, crockery and the modern conveniences of home. The lounge/dining room consists of the dining table, a two-seater lounge, television and video player, overlooking a medium-sized verandah. With these cabins fronting onto the beach, the Beach Front Villas provide a relaxed getaway.

Unpowered Caravan/Camping Sites

There may be no electricity but the view makes up for it! Situated at the front of the park in the direction of the beach the unpowered section is not sited, but we do place a limitation on the number of sites available.

Powered Camping/Caravan Sites

All our powered sites are grass not slab. They are situated throughout the park with the shared amenities located in the middle of the park, no ensuites.
