Mirrabooka, NSW

Mirrabooka is a small suburb on the eastern side of the Morisset Peninsula, between Brightwaters and Balcolyn on Lake Macquarie.

  • Views to Pulbah Island
  • A quiet lake shore
  • Sunrise over the water

The name is an Aboriginal word for the Southern Cross. The suburb is a few streets of houses running down to the lake, and it would be wrong to suggest there is much to do.

Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
