Touring Options

Larapinta Trail – Half Day

Experience stage four of the Larapinta Trail on this half day tour departing from Alice Springs. After a four wheel drive to the base of Chewings Range, the one hour walk starts at Birthday Waterhole through to the foot of the ranges to explore Cycad Gorge. View the unique flora and fauna and the ruggedness of the surrounding ranges, before heading back to Alice Springs.

The rate supplied is per vehicle base on a 10 day tour. Please note that the charge per kilometre has not been included in the rate supplied.

Simpson Desert

Explore the unique environment of the Simpson Desert on this three and a half days camping tour starting in Alice Springs. Travelling through the community of Santa Teresa, past Alambi Station and resting at Mac Clark (Acacia Peuce) Conservation Reserve where the rare Acacia peuce’s stand in its natural habitat, and camp at Old Andado Station for the night. From Andado you head off to Mount Dare and Dalhousie, the camp spot for the night. Driving through the historic township of Finke (Apatula), and crossing over the Finke River system, you then follow the old Ghan line to Titjikala and Chambers Pillar on to Hugh River Bridge, where you camp for the night. Visit Rainbow Valley before heading back to Alice Springs. From sceneries of magnificent red gum creeks and mountain ranges, to flattened country side, to the rolling sand hills of the Simpson Desert, all this awaits you on this exclusive tour.

Larapinta Trail – Full Day

Discover a part of the Larapinta Trail on this full day tour departing Alice Springs. Heading off onto a rough and sometimes challenging four wheel drive track you arrive at Birthday Waterhole situated at the base of the Chewings Range. The three kilometres walk consists of a trail up to the base of the mountains, to see the primitive cycad trees, and finishing at Hugh Gorge. Stunning views and distinctive flora and fauna surround you throughout the walk.

Yuendumu Art Centre

Travellers who wish to experience Aboriginal culture and the outback, this full day tour departing Alice Springs awaits you. Taking the Tanami Road, visiting the Tilmouth Well Roadhouse and the Warlukurlangu (Yuendumu) Art Centre. In the art centre you will be able to meet working artists and browse, or purchase artwork on display. Travelling on to Papunya, Glen Helen Resort and Alice Springs.
