A Country Holiday Adventure – Visit World Heritage National Parks, explore the mighty Clarence River and enjoy for wheel driving on the beach.Take the family on a day out and see the real Australia with us, we are located approximately 17kms from South Grafton off the Gwydir Highway.

Tours include day trips to the Clarence River Gorge, Washpool & Gibralter National Parks and along the Old Glen Innes Road including travelling through an old Convict tunnel. Trips to Yuraygir National Park along the Clarence Coast and also the Solitary Island Marine Park. Other National Parks such as Chaelundi, Guy Fawkes and Nymboi-Bindery are available for Tours when you pick the 4 day/ 5 night package. Family packages also available.

Touring Options

World Heritage Trail

The World Heritage Trail follow the old Corrico Coach route along the Boyd River through the 1860’s convict tunnel to the Mann & Henry Rivers, then to the World Heritage Gibralter & Washpool National Parks to see Rasberry Lookout, Boundary Falls and Mulligans Hut. Enjoy a walk to the Coachwood Pool through the largest stand of Coachwood Rainforest remaining in the world.

The Cost of this tour is $40 per person or $100 for a family of four.

The Clarence Gorge

Visit the spectacular Clarence River Gorge and experience one of the Clarence Valleys true natural wonders. Driving through the scenic Copmanhurst district you stop for morning tea at the Gorge Homestead before exploring the Gorge by Boat. This is followed by a walking trek to Rainbow Falls then back to the Homestead for a BBQ lunch.

Tour Package 1 – 3 days/4 nights

Experience 3 days of touring The Clarence Gorge, The World Heritage Trail and Yuraygir National Park plus the Solitary Island Marine Park and staying at the modern 4 bedroom, two-story homestead situated on a 3 acre property on the banks of the Clarence River (the East’s Coast largets river) with panoramic views as far as the Gibralter Range. You have your own private room and dinner and breakfast are included in the price of $360 per person.

Yuraygir National Park & Solitary Islands Marine Park

This coastal tour takes you to the Yuraygir National Park and the Solitary Islands Marine Park. During the trip you can visit "The Blow Hole" at Sandon Beach and "The Sandon Village" which is accessible only by a 10km 4WD beach drive and only at low tide.
