Dolphin & Snorkelling Island Discovery

Leaving the Port, you will enter the South Pacific Ocean where the offshore islands offer a remarkable and very impressive sight. Pass Australia’s southern most rainforest island, which is Cabbage Tree Island. Home to our most endangered sea bird the Gould’s Petrel.
Anchor just off the Islands where you can proceed to take a swim or snorkel in the beautiful clear water. You can bring your own lunch and enjoy a glass of wine or soft drink.

Whale and Dolphin Watching

From June to Mid November close to 5,800 humpback whales will migrate just off Port Stephens on their annual migration. First for their northern migration to the warmer waters of the South Pacific, then will return for their southern migration back to Antarctica.
To watch these awesome creatures from the stable deck of Imagine, with skippers Frank & Yves, is an experience not to forget. Both have a fascination for whale and dolphins and are actively working for their preservation.

Sunset Cruise

With over 120 bottlenose dolphins in the port there is a 99% success rate in dolphin sightings. They are a joy to watch and it is fascinating to understand their complex behaviour. After 6 years Imagine Cruises have seen a lot of changes and it is always a pleasure to go and meet them. Have a close encounter from our bow net or get in the water to enjoy a ride in the boomnet. It’s a great feeling and real fun!
