Kakadu 4WD Safaris

Kakadu 4WD Safaris offer small group and personalised camping tours, with local Territorian guides, through World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. This is a hiking, swimming, knowledge based, bush camping safari with lots of laughs and good humour thrown in for good measure. The tour also includes a visit with “Snappy” the saltwater crocodile at Kakadu 4WD Safaris residence and, a private cruise on the Adelaide River where you can see jumping crocodiles.

This company is generally geared for the Backpacker market and the 18 to 35 age group, however people outside this age group are welcome.

Kakadu 4WD Safaris

This three day active, educational, camping safari takes in the highlights of Kakadu National Park. The tour includes bushwalking, hiking, swimming in pristine waterholes and private cruise on the Adelaide River where you can see jumping crocodiles.

You will have the opportunity to learn about Aboriginal culture, bushtucker and bush medicines and visit Nourlangie Rock, an Aboriginal rock art site. You will also hike to the spectacular Jim Jim Falls and Twin Falls, and relax and listen to the didjeridu being played around the campfire at night.
