Fraser Island Excursions invite you on a day of discovery to a national environmental treasure.

Using the beach just north of Noosa as their highway, experience the stunning coloured sand cliffs of Cooloola, and the magnificent vista of Rainbow Beach. Cross the Great Sandy Straits to Fraser Island aboard the Fraser Barge, and a new world unfolds.

The world’s largest sand island and World Heritage listed, Fraser Island offers a wonderland of unique wildlife and unspoilt wilderness. Endless beaches with ancient shifting sand dunes, lush rainforests with crystal clear streams, and freshwater lakes with powder white sands. Let yourself go and discover paradise.

Explore Fraser Island in style with friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated driver/guides. Following sand four wheel drive tracks discover a patchwork of vegetation and landscapes that varies from coastal heaths and scribbly gums to massive stands of hardwood and lush rainforest.

Enjoy a swim and delicious lunch by the lake with quality refreshments provided by the Sheraton Resort. Tours offer personalised service to small groups of six in comfortable, air-conditioned landcruisers. Exclusive access to Double Island Point Lighthouse is another feature of the tour on offer dependent on conditions. The views are spectacular and whale sightings can occur from June through to October.
