Outback Flinders Ranges 8 Day Tour – MT14

Eight day fully escorted, small group tour with premium accommodation. A must, explore and see first hand the magnificence of the 600 million year old Flinders Ranges where you will enjoy the beauty of the flora, fauna and wildlife in its natural environment. Steep ancient gorges, huge mountain landscape, all under the stars. Includes three nights in Adelaide and four nights in the Flinders Ranges.

. Day One – Be met on arrival by your full-time experienced guide in Adelaide and check into premium accommodation at Glenelg, Adelaide’s liveliest beach resort. Shop in Jetty road, walk the clear waters of Glenelg beach, view the multi-million dollar boat marina. Later a historic tram ride into the city to maybe try your luck at Skycity casino (optional) or take in the lakes and parks.

. Day Two – Check out for a five to six hour scenic drive to the magnificent ancient Flinders Ranges. On route we pass through the picturesque Clare Valley wine region. A comfortable drive with plenty of stops for coffee and photos. We check into the award wining eco resort at Wilpena Pound for four nights in self-contained premium accommodation.

. Day Three – Today we travel into the heart of the Flinders Ranges, through pretty Bunyeroo and ancient Brachina gorge and onto the adjoining plain with lunch at the Prairie Hotel. We enter a short way into Parachilna gorge and the return by the same route to fully appreciate the scenery, wildlife, fauna and flora of this unique old father time land.

. Day Four – We traverse the southern wall of Wilpena Pound along the Moralana scenic way to Black Gap. Return is by Rawnsleys Bluff to view Aboriginal rock paintings at Arkaroo Rock. Such a mystical place.

. Day Five – We head north to the historic mining town of Blinman returning via the Great Wall Of China (Yes, but not manmade). Time for a stroll into Wilpena Pound to Wangara lookout to soak up the atmosphere.

. Day Six – Early start for our return to Adelaide city where we book into premium accommodation. You are in walking distance of the famous Central Markets, Rundle Mall shopping, Skycity casino, restaurants and parks.

. Day Seven – A free day in Adelaide and as always your guide will give you great ways to spend your time.

. Day Eight – Check out and connect with your transport out of Adelaide. Your guide will see you off safely.

Fish Charter at Marion Bay 8 Day Tour – MT15

Eight day fully escorted, small group tour with premium accommodation. Whether an amateur or experienced angler, fishing in the deep blue waters of the picturesque Yorke Peninsula is absolutely outstanding. As if this is not enough we take you sightseeing through the pristine coastal Innes National Park, which is inhabited by emus and kangaroos. Fish charter at its very best. We spend three nights in Adelaide and four nights at Marion Bay.

. Day One – Be met on your arrival by your full-time experienced guide in Adelaide and check into premium accommodation at Glenelg, Adelaide’s liveliest beach resort. Shop in Jetty road, walk the clear waters of Glenelg beach, view the multi-million dollar boat marina. . Day Two – Check out for a leisurely four hour drive to Marion Bay through rural South Australia via Ardrossan, home of the big blue crabs and Minlaton, barley capital of the world. Check into premium self-contained accommodation at Marion Bay (four nights), a stones throw away from Innes National Park and a fishing paradise. After a quick tour of your surroundings, it’s time to try our hand at catching squid off the local jetty.

. Day Three – It’s day one of the fish charter with a 0730 start. A memorable day that will stay with you forever. We have prizes for the most fish, biggest fish and most unusual catch. The fish are kept on ice and frozen in Adelaide for you to take home after your holiday, and of course, guess what’s for dinner.

. Day Four – Day two of the fish charter. The species of fish available to catch are too numerous to mention but they include snapper, marwong, salmon, king george whiting. More prizes today.

. Day Five – Today we go into total relaxation mode with a very pleasant tour through the wonderful Innes National Park, a rugged coastline with sandy beaches and sleepy bays. The park has an abundance of flora and fauna, with wildlife abound.

. Day Six – We return to Adelaide and check into premium city accommodation. You are within walking distance of our famous Central Markets, Rundle Mall shopping, Skycity casino, restaurants and parks.

. Day Seven – A free day in Adelaide and as always your guide will give you great ideas on how to spend your time.

Adelaide Wine Regions 8 Day Tour – MT12

Eight day fully escorted, small group tour with premium accommodation. Wine lovers of the world will know of South Australia’s world-class wine regions; the Barossa, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale. Visitors will get to taste and enjoy some of the finest wines on location. Includes five nights Adelaide and two nights Clare Valley.

. Day Two – A full day tour of the famous Barossa, Australia’s most recognized wine region. We travel via scenic Adelaide Hills and visit most of the leading wineries (and some small ones) for cellar door tastings. Seppeltsfield, Wolfblass, Yaldara wineries just to mention a few. We stop at the Barossa towns of Angaston, Nuriootpa and Lyndoch.

. Day Three – A full day tour of the Fleurieu Peninsula, stopping at the wine regions of McLaren Vale (includes Rosemount winery) and Langhorne Creek for wine tastings and cellars door sales. We visit the historic country town of Strathalbyn and the seaside port of Goolwa.

. Day Four – We check out today for a two hour drive to the wine district of Clare Valley for a two nights stay in premium self-contained accommodation. We stop at Taylor’s winery for tastings before visiting Martindale Hall at historic Mintaro.

. Day Five – Full day tour of the Clare Valley district including wine tastings at the old Sevenhills winery. We call on many wineries on the way through Spring Gully Conservation Park to Spring Gully lookout. A tour of the old copper town of Burra forms part of this fun day in the country.

. Day Six – We return to Adelaide and book into premium accommodation in the city. You are in walking distance of the famous Central Market, Rundle Mall shopping, Skycity casino, restaurants and parks.

Kangaroo Island 8 Day Tour – MT16

Eight day fully escorted, small group tour with premium accommodation. Beach lovers and wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy our tour to the internationally recognised Kangaroo Island. Observe and walk with the seals and sea lions. Rugged coastline, pristine beaches, koalas and kangaroos, yes, you are in paradise. Includes three nights in Adelaide and four nights on Kangaroo Island.

. Day Two – Early start for a two hour scenic coastal drive to rendezvous with the Kangaroo Island car ferry. Then a one hour sea crossing and we begin our adventures in paradise. A look around Penneshaw and then we are off to our self-contained accommodation in Kingscote for a relaxing afternoon.

. Day Three – The south coast takes us to Seal Bay Conservation Park where we walk with wild seals and sea lions. We gaze at the natural beauty of Vivonne Bay , the vast sand dunes of the Little Sahara Desert, Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch at Cape De Couedic. All of this in the splendour of Flinders Chase National Park where koalas and kangaroos abound.

. Day Four – The north coast takes us to Cape Borda lighthouse, Harvey’s return, Snellings beach, Stokes Bay, Emu Bay and back to Kingscote.

. Day Five – The east coast takes in Cape Willoughby lighthouse, Antechamber Bay and American River. We take our time to soak up the atmosphere and stunning scenery.

. Day Six – Early start for our sea crossing back to Adelaide. Premium city accommodation waits in the heart of the city within walking distance of our famous Central Markets, Rundle Mall shopping, Skycity casino, restaurants and parks.

For the romantics or the family and friends, you may wish to experience living and cruising on the world renowned fully self contained houseboats along the beautiful Murray River. Watch the sun rise as you lay in bed and let the world pass by. Includes three nights and in Adelaide and four nights on board houseboat.

This ultra modern fully self contained houseboat features bedrooms with ensuites, modern kitchen, bar and lounge facilities (DVD, television). It’s the best kept secret in South Australia. Overnight in paradise.

. Day Three – Yes, we are cruising the mighty Murray River. Fishing, reading, nature, sightseeing, cooking, eating, television, DVD, board games (marhjong anyone). Campfires in winter, swimming in summer.

. Day Four – Still cruising the mighty Murray River. What time does the bar open? What’s for dinner? Is it party-time or an early night? So many questions!

. Day Five – Oh no, only one more day of cruising the mighty Murray River. Where did the time go? Fishing anyone? No wonder you Aussies keep this a secret.

. Day Six – Return and berth our houseboat at Mannum (shucks) and depart for Adelaide. Premium accommodation waits in the heart of the city within walking distance of our famous Central markets, Rundle Mall shopping, Skycity casino, restaurants and parks.
