Sea Kayak Australia (SKA) was established in 1994 and operates mainly on the east side of Port Phillip Bay and Victoria. Sea Kayaking is unique, adventurous, fun, wet, environmentally interactive (e.g. see dolphins, seals, eagles at close quarters) and tranquil. Sea Kayak Australia’s core aim is to provide a journey through a natural environment that is adventurous and offers an opportunity for personal enrichment. Half Day Tours St Kilda to Port Melbourne, Melbourne Uni boat sheds to Herring Island, Sandringham to Black Rock – $75 per person, group discounts – 8 or over. Full Day Tours – (Close to Melbourne) Port Melbourne to Williamstown, Princes Bridge to West Gate bridge, Sandringham to Ricketts – $420 for 4, discounts for larger groups (includes gourmet lunch and drinks) Full Day Tour – (1.5hrs from Melbourne) Sorrento to Pt Nepean, Phillip Island tour – $480 for 4, discounts for larger groups (includes gourmet lunch and drinks) Multi Day tours Wilsons Promontory, French Island, Portarlington, Gippsland Lakes and many other locations – $300 for 2 per day, $460 for 4 per day, larger group discounts Courses Introduction to Sea Kayaking – all gear supplied – $140 per person Hire Single Kayak $70 per day or $110 for weekend (includes all paddling gear) Double fibreglass $100 per day or $ 150 for weekend (includes all paddling gear) School groups Secondary School Groups, journey based expeditions and day trips are also offered at the above locations.
