Touring Options

Sydney to Adelaide Six Day Tour – WV04

Spend six days travelling from Sydney to Adelaide visiting sights including the Blue Mountains, Katoomba, Abercrombie Caves, Parkes Radio Telescope, Western Plains Zoo, White Cliffs Opal Fields, Mutawintji National Park, Broken Hill mines and art galleries, historic Silverton, Menindee Lakes, Darling River, Paddle Steamer Melbourne Cruise, Murray River, Banrock Station Wetland Walk and Lock One at Blanchetown. Learn about geology, plants and animals of the areas visited, the history of both the Indigenous people and European settlers. We camp each night in swags under the stars, with tents available for those who want them. Our guides are excellent cooks and will be glad to have you assist them each evening.

Flinders Ranges Four Day Tour – WV01

Spend four days in the Flinders Ranges with one night at Wilpena Pound, one night at Arkaroola and one night bush camping, visiting the most spectacular areas and examining the natural history, Aboriginal and European history. Highlights include Alligator Gorge, Quorn, Kanyaka, Hawker, Arkaroo Rock, Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges, Aroona Valley, Parachilna, Beltana and Leigh Creek. With fantastic scenic places like Alligator Gorge, Wilpena Pound, Brachina Gorge and the magnificent Arkaroola and its Echo Camp Backtrack Tour you get to see the Flinders Ranges’ best sights, plus we visit locations unheard of by most travellers. Our guides know this area because they live in it. You can learn about the amazing geological history of the spectacularly rugged scenery. Get to know the plants that add such vivid contrast to the red and golden rocks. Meet and learn about the local inhabitants on two legs, four legs, feathered and furred and at night see the millions of stars up close and personal. We camp each night at set campsites, not in tents, but in swags, which Australian bushman have been using for 200 years so they come highly recommended. We do carry tents for those who would prefer to use them. Our guides are excellent cooks and will be glad to have you assist them each evening.

Spend six days travelling from Adelaide to Sydney visiting sights including the Lock One at Blanchetown, Banrock Station Wetland Walk, Murray River, Paddle Steamer Melbourne Cruise, Darling River, Menindee Lakes, Broken Hill mines and art galleries, historic Silverton, Mutawintji National Park, White Cliffs Opal Fields, Western Plains Zoo, Parkes Radio Telescope, Abercrombie Caves, Katoomba and the Blue Mountains.
