Kimberley Wild Expeditions is a premium nature-based adventure tour company located in the Broome area. With many years of experience in the Kimberley region, Kimberley Wild Expeditions have been able to discover many untouched spectacular wilderness areas, form many partnerships with the local Aboriginal Communities and receive special access to protected wilderness areas.

Kimberley Wild Expeditions uses experienced local guides who specialise in Aboriginal culture, bush foods, fishing, wildlife and the incredible history of the majestic Kimberley wilderness. All vehicles are air-conditioned with comfortable forward facing seating, all food is of premium quality and for extended tours all camping equipment is very comfortable and chosen specifically for the Kimberley region.

The one day and two day Kimberley Gorges Escape are great tours for those who are short of time or have not camped before but still want to enjoy a genuine outback experience. Included in the cost of the two day and four day tours is a half-day cruise along the famous Geikie Gorge with a local Bunuba Aboriginal guide. Also visit Tunnel Creek, a spectacular cave system over 750 metres long carved through the Napier Range. Windjana Gorge is a genuine oasis in the outback and many animals take refuge in the permanent water including large family groups of freshwater crocodiles.

The four day Kimberley Safari is a fantastic adventure tour for those who really want to experience the highlights of the Kimberley gorges, waterfalls and ancient Aboriginal rock art. The eight day Kimberley Crossing is the ultimate way to see the Kimberley, traversing the entire region. One Day Cape Leveque Cultural Adventure

Highlights of this tour include Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community Lombadina Aboriginal Community and Cape Leveque (Kooljaman).

Departing Broome at 0730, we travel up the Dampier Peninsular, known as ‘Dampier Land’. We visit Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community, home of the famous pearlshell church for morning tea and a tour of the Women’s Art Centre. We then head off to beautiful Cape Leveque (Kooljaman) for a delicious lunch and an afternoon of enjoying the pristine beaches and spectacular coastline. Swimming, snorkelling, sunbathing or a long walk along the beach, the afternoon is yours to enjoy.

We then travel back to Lombadina Community where we meet our indigenous local guide. We are taken on a tour of the Community and the surrounding area. Travelling through challenging Kimberley terrain we arrive in Broome at approximately 1830.
