Foaming Fury

Foaming Fury offers white water rafting experiences ranging from half day, one day through to two day expeditions for you to enjoy. Their half day trip is on the Barron River and it is a fun two hours of rafting; the beautiful Barron Gorge National Park is only 20 minutes from Cairns. Their Full Day adventure is on the Russell River which is a 50 minute scenic drive south of Cairns and the two day expedition is a combination of both as well as a tour of Cape Tribulation. They specialise in wilderness and excitement.

Touring Options

Cape Tribulation – Day Tour

Enjoy a 45 minute Crocodile Express cruise on the Daintree River, followed by morning tea. Crossing on the Daintree River Ferry is an adventure in itself. A 45 minute informative rainforest walk at the Marrdja Botanical Board Walk. Time to have lunch at the Cape Tribulation Beach House (at own cost) or explore the beaches then a look around at PK’s Jungle Village. Home made ice cream to be enjoyed at the Daintree Ice Cream Company and then a look around Crocodylus. An opportunity to explore the magnificent scenery of Mossman Gorge. A scenic drive through Port Douglas.

Barron River Rafting – Half Day

Travel 20 minutes North West of Cairns to the Barron River. Let their guides entertain you in eight man rafts. Spend two hours paddling rapids up to Grade three (four hour round trip). Dam controlled river, allowing consistent supplies of water all year round. A delicious lunch (optional) served in the beautiful surrounds of the Red Beret Hotel. The Hotel has recently been renovated to provide a fantastic lunch venue. Lunch is a selection of meat, fish or vegetarian. Meals are served with chips and garden fresh salads. A professional photographer accompanies tours, providing top quality rafting photographs for purchase.
