Wilderness Challenge

Wilderness Challenge maximises your experience from Cairns to Cape York – in Northern Australia through the high quality of its guide team and meticulous detail in itineraries and equipment. The company has 10 Regional, State and National Tourism Awards and holds the highest accreditations available.

Accommodated and camping safaris and tours explore the Daintree, Cooktown, Cape York, The Gulf Savannah and Savannah Way, Kakadu and The Kimberley. But a Wilderness Challenge safari is so much more than a series of great destinations – it’s an emotional experience you’ll get with few other holidays. Travelling in small groups of only 13 is vital to these adventures.

In this way you can relax with personal attention while you discover a rich history of ancient Aboriginal culture, of heroic explorers and lonely pioneers. Meet locals and understand life in today’s outback. You’ll learn about the captivating animals and plants of the Australian bush and the delicate relationships that bind its many ecosystems.

Family owned and operated, Wilderness Challenge offers scheduled departures from Cairns, Darwin and Broome. OKA, Mercedes Benz and Toyota vehicles are used, along with the best available accommodation in classic locations or luxurious camping in safety, comfort and style.

Your caring naturalist guides will share with you their favourite places and nature’s wonders. They are qualified and experienced, and passionate about their roles. Most are accredited Savannah Guides, continually updating their knowledge of some of Australia’s most wondrous and remote regions. You will enjoy the adventure and excitement of new experiences with a small group of like-minded travellers from Australia and the world.

Come with Wilderness Challenge to capture the emotion and romance, the tragedies and triumphs of Australia’s amazing outback. For more information on the full range of Wilderness Challenge tours available, please contact Wilderness Challenge through the links below.
