Join Holiday Wonders for an all inclusive four day getaway tour to Mount Gambier designed especially for senior travellers. Highlights include return chauffeured transfers from your home in the Adelaide metropolitan area, luxury coach travel, all breakfasts, lunches and dinners, great sightseeing, Mount Gambier, river cruise, Port MacDonnell, Tantanoola Caves and Dingley Dell.

. Day One – Chauffeured car pick up from your home, express coach to Mount Gambier, transfers, dinner. This morning you will be picked up from your home by chauffeured car and transferred to the Central Bus Station, Franklin Street, Adelaide. Here our tour representative will assist you with your check in for travel by Stateliner Express to Mount Gambier. Tour passengers are provided with pre booked seats onboard the coach, which is air conditioned and rest room and toilet equipped. On arrival in Mount Gambier you are transferred to your motel situated in the very heart of the city. This evening, dinner is at Mac’s Hotel located nearby. There is an excellent range of dishes to choose from in the restaurant and you are welcome to stay on at the hotel to enjoy the friendly hospitality after dinner.

. Day Two – Aquifer Tour, Tantanoola Caves, Dingley Dell, breakfast, lunch, Devonshire tea, dinner. This morning after breakfast, passengers join the award winning Aquifer Tour. Here you are taken safely down into the extinct volcano crater in a special glass lift. The amazing features of Mount Gambier’s famous Blue Lake can be seen during this fascinating experience. Later, we set off for the Tantanoola Caves, which are nestled inside an ancient marine cliff which towers the landscape. Masses of intricate and delicate formations arch overhead as you stroll through this highly decorated single chamber. A special pathway built without steps provides easy and comfortable access. A delicious Devonshire morning tea will be served before we return to Mount Gambier. After lunch, which is provided for you, we travel to the historic cottage of Dingley Dell. Dingley Dell was the home of Adam Lindsay Gordon our most famous colonial poet and horseman. You are sure to enjoy the lovely afternoon tea while viewing this interesting Nineteenth Century cottage. Dinner tonight is at the Mac’s Hotel.

. Day Three – City sightseeing tour, paper mill – Nelson Explorer cruise, Port MacDonnell, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. This morning after breakfast, passengers begin the city sights tour. Included is a visit to a unique paper mill. This mill is still crafting paper in the ancient tradition by hand. After lunch it’s "all aboard" the Endeavour cruise boat for a cruise on the pretty Glenelg River. Its always fun with plenty of highlights along the way on this popular trip with afternoon tea. Later in the afternoon we travel south to Port MacDonnell on the shipwreck coast where South Australia’s first lighthouse built in 1858, can still be seen on this rugged coast. Dinner tonight is at the Mac’s Hotel.

. Day Four – Travelling home, chauffeured car transfer, breakfast. After breakfast passengers are picked up from the motel and transferred to board the coach from your return journey to Adelaide. The coach travels the coastal route via Robe. Salt Creek and the Coorong National Park to Adelaide. Your coach arrives back at the Central Bus Station at 1430. Chauffeured cars will then transfer you to your home.
