Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary

Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary is in the Adelaide Hills, 25 minutes drive from the centre of Adelaide. Guided interpretive tours depart morning and evening when the animals are most active. Wetland and rainforest walks depart each day. Bookings are essential.

Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary Nocturnal Wildlife Tour – WST3

Visitors will encounter Australia’s threatened wildlife like potoroos, platypus, kangaroos, bilbies, bandicoots and bettongs in 34 hectares of habitat. A fascinating walk through the habitats of Australia’s native wildlife by night. Combine your tour with dinner in the Warrawong Restaurant for a truly memorable evening. Dinner and walk packages are available.

Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary Dawn Walk – WST1

Take an early morning walk with an experienced guide and explore the diverse habitats of the Eucalypt forest, rainforest and waterways. See Australian wildlife including potoroos, bettongs, wallabies, kangaroos and maybe platypus. Following your tour, enjoy breakfast in the Warrawong Restaurant.

Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary Self Guided Tour – WST2

Discover the wetlands and rainforest habitats of the sanctuary by day. Follow the trails and boardwalks past platypus ponds and appreciate the stunning beauty and scope of the natural rehabilitation. Watch for wild platypus, wallabies, freshwater fish, turtles, koalas and other Australian wildlife. Combine the tour with lunch in the Warrawong restaurant.
