Day Two – Kangaroo Island to Adelaide – After pick up from your hotel your day of Remarkably Wild discovery begins with a visit to Emu Ridge, a bush engineered traditional Eucalyptus Distillery that makes the most of its environmental resources, then to Kelly Hill Caves. A Parks Ranger will take you deep into the cave to view the unique limestone formations, created over thousands of years.

. After lunch we travel on to Flinders Chase National Park, where you will spend the rest of your afternoon. Flinders Chase is renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. The tour of the park will take you to the rugged southern coastline for a walk on Remarkable Rocks, providing great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. A short distance from the rocks is Admirals Arch. A boardwalk down the rugged cliff face will reveal this spectacular arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful seals, which can be seen swimming or sheltering and resting on the rocks.

. Next we take you to something different, Island Pure Sheep Dairy, a unique and enterprising farm. Here you will have an opportunity to observe sheep being milked and sample delicious yoghurts, various cheeses including Haloumi – grilled with a squeeze of lemon juice. Your adventure ends at the ferry terminal for your return journey to Adelaide.

Seal Bay From Goolwa or Victor Harbor – STCC

SeaLink Holiday’s Seal Bay Discovery tour is the perfect way to enjoy one of only two places in the world where you can walk on a beach among rare, wild Australian Sea lions.

. Pick up from Goolwa or Victor Harbor location by arrangement before departing early morning for a scenic coach trip to Cape Jervis. You will then board your SeaLink ferry for the 45-minute cruise to Kangaroo Island.

. We then make our way across the island to Clifford’s Honey Farm where you will enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by a tasting. After Lunch it is a short trip to Parndana Wildlife Park, an award winning sanctuary for orphaned native animals and birds.

Coorong and Kangaroo Island 3 Days – GCCC

Coorong and Kangaroo Island Coast to Coast three day tour. Highlights include the McLaren Vale wine region, stunning coastal scenery on a Coorong eco cruise and two full days touring on Kangaroo Island.

. Day One – Morning hotel pick up from major Adelaide hotels for car or coach transfer to the McLaren Vale wine growing region. After travelling through the rolling hills to the old paddle steamer port of Goolwa where you board the cruise boat Spirit of the Coorong for your eco cruise across Lake Alexandrina and into the Coorong National Park.

. The Coorong is a narrow waterway with prolific bird life and separated from the Southern Ocean by spectacular white sand hills. You will have an opportunity to walk to the mouth of the River Murray (Australia’s longest river) and take a guided walk through the sand hills and vegetation to the white sandy beaches of the Southern Ocean. A picnic lunch is included. For overnight accommodation you have a choice of historic self-catering cottage accommodation in Goolwa (restaurant just down the street) or conventional hotel accommodation at Victor Harbor (transfer included). If staying at Victor Harbor you may wish to take a walk across the causeway to see the penguins on Granite Island.

. Day Two – Early pick up from Goolwa or Victor Harbor for the one-hour scenic coach transfer to Cape Jervis where you board SeaLink’s fast and comfortable ferry for the 45-minute crossing to Kangaroo Island.

. On arrival board your SeaLink coach to begin your visit with a full day Seal Bay Discovery tour. Your first destination Parndana Wildlife Park to feed Kangaroo Island kangaroos and take a guided tour of this wildlife and bird park.

. In the afternoon travel on to Seal Bay for a beach walk with a National Parks Ranger amongst a breeding colony of Australian Sea-lions. Now we have a treat for you, Clifford’s Honey Farm where we enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by tasting and an opportunity to buy various honey products. After the honey farm we transfer you to your overnight accommodation. After dark discover Kangaroo Island’s little penguins on an optional guided penguin walk (Kingscote and Penneshaw. Note: Penguin tour is not available for accommodation at American River).

Kangaroo Island Sealink Ferry Transfer – SA20-SH06

Your day of discovery begins with a visit to Emu Ridge, a bush engineered traditional Eucalyptus Distillery that makes the most of its environmental resources, then to Kelly Hill Caves. A National Parks Ranger will take you deep into the cave to view the unique limestone formations, created over thousands of years.

. After lunch we travel on toe Flinders Chase National Park, where you will spend the rest of your afternoon. Flinders Chase is renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. The tour of the park will take you to the rugged southern coastline for a walk on Remarkable Rocks, providing great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. A short distance from the rocks is Admirals Arch. A boardwalk down the rugged cliff face will reveal this spectacular arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful fur seals which can be seen swimming or sheltering and resting on the rocks. Next we take you to something different, Island Pure Sheep Dairy, a unique and enterprising farm. Here you will have an opportunity to observe sheep being milked and sample delicious yoghurts, various cheeses including Haloumi – grilled with a squeeze of lemon juice.
