Pungalina Cattle Station, situated in Australia’s Northern Territory Gulf, is 500,000 acres of remote outback wilderness with a comfortable eco safari camp for 12 people next to a natural thermal spring. Designed for ‘flyins’ or four wheel drives, it is fully catered and licensed. Six day air tour charters from Melbourne across Australia to Pungalina can be arranged with special discounts for groups of 6 to 8 clients. Pungalinas Customise Your Stay Tour

Pungalina Station offer tailored tours with the chance to relax, unwind and swim according to your wishes. Take time to settle in, get to know your host Owen Davies and, have a refreshing swim and drink at the camp. Tours leave the camp each day or can go on for a number of days as requested. Explore Pungalina, view a fresh water natural spring and visit a spectacular escarpment, venture into limestone caves, see stromatolites, cruise Karns Creek and the Calvert River, snorkel in a spring, fish for barramundi or learn about local wildlife. Boats, canoes, fishing gear, guides and vehicles are all provided. The Pungalina billy cart is a great way to view the property.

6 Day Safari

Experience a six day air tour safari, in a six to eight passenger twin engine aircraft. The tour departs from Melbourne on Thursdays and returns on Tuesdays. This is only four days off work. Overnight on a remote cattle station and then arrive at Pungalina Station on the morning of the second day and stay in the fully catered twin share, comfortable, safari camp right next to a thermal spring. Enjoy such activities as canoeing, walking, swimming, barramundi fishing, bird watching and caving. On the fifth day, fly back to Melbourne staying at an opal town on the way.

There are substantial discounts for group bookings of six to eight clients and tours can be tailored to suit.
