The house and gardens of Allanvale are worth the visit, and if staying the weekend take the time to have an afternoon tea or taste of a local wine on the verandas, stroll the grounds and surrounding countryside, or just relax with a book beside the lap pool. Enjoy the separate guest wing of two beautifully decorated bedrooms with cosy lounge suite and open fire, in an enchanting country manor style. The guest wing also features self-contained facilities including a rustic kitchen overlooking it’s own private garden, and bathrooms with period decor. Allanvale is graced with a grand ballroom designed and built in a period of opulence and provides the ideal venue for memorable weddings, private business functions, special occasions. The host, Annie Kilpatrick, specialises in catered fine dining and private functions. The Heritage Shearers Quarters is popular for the great outdoor outings, recreational excursion groups or large family occasions. Guests typically come prepared with provisions to create a simple feast on site. It accommodates up to twenty guests and is ideal for special interest groups and as a base camp for days away such as wine tours, horse hunt clubs, bush walks, cycling jaunts, and those additional exuberant wedding party guests.
