Akuna Station, Kingston-On-Murray

Akuna Station is one of the most picturesque pieces of riverfronts in South Australia. Akuna is an award winning property with its wetlands, river frontage, high cliff tops, premium vineyard, scrubland and dry land farming. Accommodation is provided on an 1875 paddleboat. Akuna Amphibious has been fully restored with luxury appointments throughout and can accommodate six guests. There is also a two bedroom, renovated 1928 original homestead, complete with king size beds, leather lounges, bar and a personal spa. Australia's Best Beaches

Australia has miles and miles of shoreline but which beaches are really great? Ultimately it depends on what you're looking for in a beach. Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
