Kin Kin Retreat, Manjimup

Kin Kin Retreat is the ideal place to unwind and relax, or to use as a base to discover the beautiful South West – an area known for her tall trees, wildflowers and natural beauty.

Kin Kin Retreat is located on the Warren River on 250 acres of beautiful bush land. You can fish, catch a marron or two from our dams, walk, ride, row or just relax in front of the log fire in the central lodge. View the birds, the occasional kangaroo and emu family with a backdrop of the tree lined river – all this without leaving the property.

We have some excellent bushwalks including a walk around the property with 1.2 kilometres of river frontage and surrounded by state forests. Close by there are walks such as the orchid discovery walk (many wild orchids are on the property), King Karri walk and the walk around Karri Lake.

Within easy reach of Pemberton and Manjimup, it is just a short drive to explore the wineries, Karri Forest, Gloucester Tree, Diamond Tree, One Tree Bridge, Shannon National park – just to name a few of the local attractions. Just over an hour’s drive is Walpole where you can explore the Valley of the Giants and walk almost 40 metres above the ground on the famous Tree Top Walk.

Our accommodation consists of 14 x one bedroom cabins with private ensuite. Tea and coffee making facilities are supplied along with your own bar fridge.

The central Lodge is the meeting place where you can play cards, have a pyjama party, test your quiz skills for a continental breakfast, where guest can test their own culinary skills either, in the fully equipped kitchen, on the barbeque or the wood fire oven (cook your own pizza). No stay would be complete without a marron cooked in the pot or on the barbeque. Many a group of strangers have turned into mates by the end of their stay.
