Captains Lodge International is ideally situated in Sale, in scenic Gippsland on the coastal route between Melbourne and Sydney, the Princes Highway, 200 km East of Melbourne We are in close proximity of many National Parks including the Lakes National Park, Tarra Bulga National Park, and Mitchell River National Park, all with their fascinating flora and fauna. One can admire kangaroos and koalas as well as many other animals and birds in their natural habitat. The Sale Wetlands and Lake Guthridge are great for a leisurely walk. We are only a 20 minutes drive from the beautiful 90 Mile Beach and the Gippsland Lakes are on our door step. Other scenic points are the Blue Pool near Briagalong, Dargo, and Lake Glenmaggie. Whether you fancy a game of golf or lawn bowls, prefer to go bushwalking, swimming or fishing, the possibilities are endless. Sale is not only the home of the RAAF Roulettes but also of the famous artist Anemieke Mein. Some of her works are displayed in the Sale Art Gallery nearby. Come relax in tranquil Gippsland!
