Arkaba Station Coach House, Hawker

The Coach House has recently been renovated to the highest standard and will accommodate two people comfortably. The view from the king size bed and also the bath is one of the best in the Flinders Ranges. The Coach House is situated 20 kilometres north of Hawker on the Wilpena Road. It is alongside the Arkaba Creek and adjacent to the Homestead, with the Elder Range as the backdrop. Access to the property is two kilometres off the main road. The Heysen Trail traverses through the station and guests may like to walk along the Arkaba Creek and the Station’s many access tracks. On its western border Arkaba Station contains the Elder Range and running through its heart are the ridges of the Red Range. Until recently most of this magnificent wilderness was out of reach but now, as a four-wheel drive adventure, you may enjoy driving your own vehicle or an escorted group tour through this challenging and exciting country.
