Kurrajong Vineyard Cottages & Guesthouse, Pokolbin

At Pokolbin in the heart of Hunter Wine Country, luxury accommodation in tranquil surroundings.

We have two full self-contained, recently built, Federation style cottages and a spacious private Guest Suite all set in our 25-acre family owned vineyard.

Treat yourselves to a break and stay in four-star AAA rates luxury, at very reasonable rates from $93 per double including light breakfast. Discounted 5 star dining pricing at the nearest restaurant, only 500 metres away.

As well as visiting the nearby wineries to taste the local wines you are welcome to stroll amongst our vines. In the evening why not sit by the dam, where you can sip wine and watch the sun set peacefully over the vines.

The cottages are suitable for one or two couples each, plus there are extra beds available. Both cottages have a spacious living room with a wood burning fire plus kitchen & dining area. The main bedrooms look through the orchard over the creek and on to the vineyard.

The spacious Guest Suite has its own private entrance, queen size bed, lounge suite, dining setting, fridge, microwave, tea & toast making facilities. It has and en-suite bathroom looks through the orchard over the creek and a verandah for enjoying a relaxing drink.

The cottages & guest suite each has there own TV, VCR, and CD/Radio, reverse cycle air conditioning, balcony or patio with gas BBQ.

We also have a large solar heated swimming pool, mountain bikes, videos and CDs all for your use at no charge.

Disabled access. Children are welcome. Pets are allowed by previous arrangement.

Kurrajong Vineyard is situated in Pokolbin conveniently close to the best-known wineries.

Accommodation Options

Federation

Federation cottage is a 2 bedroom self-contained Federation Style Cottage.
It has a large living area with slow combustion wood fire and reverse cycle air-conditioning.
Access is by 3 steps or a disabled access ramp.
Both bedrooms contain a queen bed, wardrobe, dressing table and chair plus luggage rack.
The bathroom has a shower and seperate heating.
The kitchen is fully equiped but does not have an oven. There isa a microwve and fridge plus a gas BBQ on the balcony
It is set in behind a small section of vineyard planted with Cab sauv vines.
Parking is adjacent to the cottage and the balcony has views over the main vineyard.

Kurrajong

Kurrajong cottage is a 2 bedroom self-contained Federation Style Cottage.
It has a large living area with slow combustion wood fire and reverse cycle air-conditioning.
Access is at ground level.
Both bedrooms contain a double bed one with wardrobe, chair plus luggage rack.
The bathroom has a shower and seperate heating.
The kitchen is fully equiped but does not have an oven. There isa a microwve and frigde plus a gas BBQ on the patio. Also on the potio is a 5 person heated hot tub (spa).
The cottage is set in behind established shrubs giving lots of privacy with views through the olive grove to the main vineyard.
Parking is adjacent to the cottage and the balcony has views over the main vineyard.

Vintage Suite

The "Vintage" Guest Suite is a very large room (10m x 10m) with en-suite bathroom (disabled w/c) and its own private access.
The Suite has a queen bed and a single rollaway bed plus a lounge suite and dining table & chairs.
It also has a balcony with gas BBQ and limited cooking facilities including microwave.
