Wollombi Barnstay, Wollombi

Wollombi Barnstay is a country escape designed for families or groups looking to get away and enjoy themselves. The Barnstay is ideally located only 3km from the historical town of Wollombi and only 30km from the wineries of the Hunter Valley.

The Barnstay is fully self contained with everything supplied except for food and towels. The property is set on 100 acres overlooking a picturesque dam and features 1.2km of river frontage. We are pet friendly and have amenities available to keep both the kids happy and entertained while also providing the ideal getaway for friends who just want to relax. Activies include: 3 hole short golf course, volley Ball, children’s playground, childrens quad bike, swimming and fishing inthe river. Books, magazines and assorted games are also provided.

Accommodation Options

Wollombi Barnstay

Converted to accommodation from the original 100 year old barn on the property, The Barnstay was established to provide affordable and value for money accommodation for larger groups. The Barnstay has a large lounge room with combustion fireplace with CD player, books, magazines, dart board for use by guests. In addition, a wide range of board games are also provided. Adjoining the lounge room is the dining room and fully equipped kitchen where the basics such as coffee, oil, sugar, jams etc are provided. Along the back of the Barnstay are four large bedrooms, fitted out with inviting warm doonas. Ceiling fan and heaters are located in each bedroom. The bathroom consists of 3 showers and 3 toilets. Upstairs there are two lofts, one providing further sleeping accommodation and one children’s loft with TV and video ( a wide range of videos are supplied).

Outdoors there is a lovely deck overlooking the dam, BBQ and picnic table. Further picnic tables and BBQ area are also located down by the river.
