Berrara Beach Cottage, Berrara

For that relaxing holiday at the water’s edge. The tranquil lagoon, the sound of the waves at the shore, and the serenity of the bush.

Berrara is a lovely seaside village surrounded by national parks, lake, lagoon and sea. Berrara is perfect for swimming, fishing, pottering around and relaxing.

It is just 6 kms south of Sussex Inlet, and only a short drive to Jervis Bay. About 150 kms south of Sydney, and about 100 kms north of Batemans Bay.

The 3 bedroom house is right opposite Berrara Lagoon (see photo taken from lounge room), which runs into the sea about 300 metres away.

The lagoon is safe for children, perfect for a canoe or kayak, and great for fishing. The two beaches are great for surfing, swimming and walking (north to Sussex Inlet, south to Bendalong). And nearby Swan Lake is suitable for water skiing and smaller sail craft.

The surrounding national parks are ideal for bushwalking, cycling and bird watching.

So whatever your choice, this area is perfect for all the family.

Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
