Riverwood Downs Mountain Valley Lodge, Barrington Tops

Riverwood Downs is set on the banks of a mountain river in the foothills of Barrington Tops just 21/2 hrs north of Sydney, and 1 hrs North of Newcastle (between Stroud & Gloucester). It has 15 acres of manicured park land and gardens and is part of a 750 acre cattle breeding property with many kilometres of walking trails and river frontage. Whether you are looking for a great family holiday, a little adventure, or just rest and relaxation you can find it here.

The nights are usually a little cool and the days beautiful. Activities available on site include bushwalking, horseriding, swimming, canoeing, watching the wildlife – or you can just do nothing! Campfires are allowed on the unpowered sites and well behaved pets are welcome.

Riverwood Downs has all the facilities you are likely to need – lovely riverside campsites, powered van sites, a bunkhouse lodge, luxury self contained Park Cabins, Riverside Spa Cabins, and a luxury 41/2 Star Guesthouse, for that occasion when you really want to spoil yourself.
