Ambleside Bed & Breakfast/Bungalow Apartment, Sydney Suburbs

Guests receive a very warm welcome at Ambleside, a comfortable home (circa 1917) surrounded by trees and gardens, and situated in a quiet and peaceful residential area only 6 miles (9 kms) from Sydney City Centre. Hosts Pamela and William Clifford live on the ground floor, whilst the spacious self-contained suite of rooms (apartment) is perfectly situated on the first floor of this two-storey family home. The apartment is bright and welcoming, and comfortably accommodates one party of up to four people. Well behaved children are welcome. There are two attractively furnished bedrooms (one queen and one twin), a spacious lounge/dining room with a balcony which overlooks the in-ground pool, large eat in kitchen and private bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. If necessary, arrangements can be made to accommodate up to 2 extra adults (there is an extra twin bedroom available at extra charge).

Guests will feel totally relaxed in this comfortable home away from home.
There is the option of self-cater, as the suite is totally self contained, or Bed and Breakfast (generous continental). Guests’ privacy is assured, as we only accept one booking at any one time. Stays of three nights or longer receive special treats which include complimentary breakfast on the first morning with fresh fruit platter, a bottle of Australian wine and morning/afternoon tea on arrival. Bed and Breakfast guests who book stays of at least three nights will receive a complimentary bottle of Australian wine and morning/ afternoon tea on arrival. For coffee lovers, the coffee we serve is freshly ground.

Starter packs for bathroom and kitchen are provided for the self-catering option. All linen and towels provided.

Ambleside is only a short walk to the train station, and travel to the Sydney CBD and popular tourist attractions is by direct train (15-20 mins). There is also a direct rail link to the international/domestic airport. An added bonus is the 18-hole golf course located nearby. There are two restaurants in close proximity (Italian and Chinese), plus a local club which accepts travellers for meals.

Early or late arrivals can be accepted by arrangement.
