Meridian Resort Beachside, Old Bar

The Meridian is an award winning 4 1/2 star resort situated right on the beach at Old Bar.

Old Bar is a semi rural township on Australia’s Holiday Coast just North of Forster/ Tuncurry and south of Port Macquarie.

The resort is situated on 1.25 hectares of beachfront reserve of which 6000sqm is private beachfront reserve.

Sitting on the beachfront you will witness the local pod of dolphins on their daily round and the occasional whale mother and calf using the shelter of Cape Hawke to rest on their long migration.

Walk on the secluded beach, fish, swim or just sit back and relax and enjoy the unhurried atmosphere.

Cook on the BBQ provided in the recreation room and lunch by the pool or sample the local restaurants provided in Old Bar and surrounding areas.

With only a short drive to Taree and the unspoilt Manning Valley, timeless forests, fantastic views and an undulating navigable river are only a stones throw away.

The Meridian is only two and a half years old and has luxurious two and three bedroom self-contained holiday units as well as studio style apartments.

The Meridian also offers the perfect place to hold your business conference, with the recreation/ conference room holding 60 people classroom style and 80 people theatre style.

The views are great, the atmosphere amazingly restful and we are sure you will agree ‘there’s nothing else like it’.

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
