Black Bear Inn, Thredbo

The Black Bear Inn has been owned by the Sommer Family since 1971 and we pride ourselves on our personal and friendly service. Our aim is to give you the best ski holiday you have ever experienced.
The Tyrolean style lodge is situated in the heart of Thredbo with great traditional Austrian/German character. The Inn’s Restaurant is well known for it’s German and Austrian food and each year they offer a new and exciting menu that features the freshest Australian and Imported produce.

The Schnapps Bar features German Beer on tap and you will find the largest range of Schnapps to choose from in the Snowy Mountains. The bar is Thredbo’s most popular meeting place and Skiers from all enjoy the warmth and hospitality that the bar provides. Piped German Music affords the opportunity for every one to join in and sing along.

The accommodation room’s are serviced daily and have central heating, private bathrooms and TV’s. All of the rooms have a spectacular views and provide a great vantage point to watch the skiing action at Thredbo.
