Nestled amongst the vines, in the heart of the valley, beautifully appointed cottages provide for all of our guest’s needs.

It takes just a moment to relax into the Hunter Valley lifestyle, a glass of Madigan Wine in hand as you watch the wildlife abound while the sun sets over the grapes. All enjoyed from the privacy of your own patio.

Whether it’s a romantic weekend away, or a city escape with friends, you can do as much or as little as you like. Just remember though, one visit is never enough.

Accommodation at Madigan Vineyard ensures your comfort and privacy:
Each cottage is air conditioned and features a luxury kitchen and bathroom with TV, video or DVD and CD stereo system.
Quality linen and luxurious bath towels are a welcome comfort for appreciative guests.
An outdoor setting with gas BBQ for each cottage enhances the relaxed ambience.
And last but not least, our Madigan wines are ready for you to sample and enjoy upon your arrival and throughout your stay.

The Kookaburra Cottage

Whether it’s a romantic getaway for two or a family holiday for four, the Kookaburra Cottage is our favourite.

Dine alfresco, under the stars on your private patio.

Relax in the spa, or watch over the vineyard, a glass of Madigan Shiraz in hand to savour.

In the misty mornings outside your window, the valley awakes to the hot air balloons floating across the vineyard.

Apart from the Queen sized bedroom, two single-beds, a gourmet kitchen, and a cosy veranda, this cottage features a luxury bathroom with a two person spa.

Privacy and seclusion make the Kookaburra Cottage a favourite with couples wanting to make the most of their stay.

Settlers Cabin

The Settlers Cottage

The Settlers Cottage is your home away from home.

Charming and cosy, our Settlers Cottage sleeps up to six people comfortably.

It doesn’t take long to relax, sipping Madigan wine on your veranda, under the fir trees, overlooking the vineyard.

The master bedroom features a King-sized double bed, and the upstairs sitting room has its own TV and 2 single beds.

The downstairs bedroom features a Queen sized bed, and there is also a double futon available in the main lounge room.

The kitchen is ultra modern with a large refrigerator, cook top, oven, and microwave.

Visit many nearby wineries and restaurants or stay in and dine at home.

The patio facing the vineyard has an outdoor setting and BBQ – perfect for watching our spectacular sunsets.

Barn /Loft Cottage

The Barn/Loft Cottage

The Barn/Loft Cottage is our most popular weekend hideaway for couples and families.

Relax with a glass of Madigan’s chilled Verdelho in hand as you watch the sunset over the vines, or chill out under the stars in your outdoor dining area with gas BBQ.

A queen-sized bedroom downstairs and a cosy queen-sized loft area provide all the sleeping comforts you desire. Linen and towels are all provided.

A large lounge with TV and stereo and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom downstairs are also at your disposal.

Stock up with local delicacies and time will seem to float: a perfect escape from the hectic city lifestyle.

The Australiana

The Australiana Cottage

Initially built as the manager’s quarters, the Australiana Cottage is our signature accommodation at Madigan Vineyard.

The Australiana comfortably sleeps up to eight people. Two queen sized rooms downstairs and a queen sized bed with double futon in the lovely loft area.

Relax with a chilled glass of Madigan Chardonnay, soaking in the six person Spa with water views over the vines.

Dine inside or outside as the Australiana has a well appointed kitchen and BBQ with outdoor setting.

Cable television gives you the chance to watch movies as you relax on the lounge after an exciting day sampling the wines and food of the many wineries and restaurants located close to Madigan.
