Monkey Mia‘s Dolphin Lodge is located at Monkey Mia’s beautiful beach, sheltered from the breeze, making it a sun filled destination where blue skies occur 320 days of the year.

The Lodge offers a variety of accommodation options for budget family and backpackers, with shared ensuites, YHA dormitory style accommodation and family Park Homes all are very affordable and offer true comfort! There’s also powered sites, a caravan park and camping ground.

There is a purpose built modern, large self cater kitchen, laundry, free gas barbecues, internet kiosk and the Monkey Bar with discount meals and drinks. The great facilities such as swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, alfresco restaurant, cocktail bar and caf offered at the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort can be enjoyed by all staying at The Lodge.

The most famous and sought after attraction would be the Monkey Mia dolphins which have visited the beach at Monkey Mia, every single day in the last year. They are the most reliable and frequently visiting wild dolphins in the world.

Getting there:

Tours and Coach – provide a jump on jump off service which is fun and easy or for a little more comfort there are 3 and 4 star coach tours.
Air – In a hurry – there is a quick 1.5 hour flight into Shark Bay.
Car – Embark on a self drive adventure. Marvel at the Pinnacles; stay a night in Kalbarri or Geraldton before traveling on to Monkey Mia the next day. If travelling through to Carnarvon, Exmouth or Broome stop over at Monkey Mia for a few days – there’s a lot to do.

See the natural marvels of the Zuytdorp Cliffs, Wooramel Seagrass Bank, Shell Beach and the Hamelin Pool Stromatolites. Look at dugongs, manta rays and marine turtles from either the beach or aboard the Shotover Catamaran as you cruise the bay.

Participate in the many walks, talks, tours and cruises happening everyday. Try snorkeling along the beach, look at the flora and fauna, see a kangaroo, and spot the wildlife or simply star gaze at night. In spring, a carpet of magnificent wildflowers covers the land.

This new addition to the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort caters for all budgets with accommodation comprising of seven and four bed dormitory rooms.

The Dolphin Lodge offers a large modern and fully equipped communcal kitchen, Monkey Bar and Cafe as well as gas barbecues. Other resort facilities include mini mart, licensed restaurant, cocktail bar and cafe, digital photo lab, masseuse, dive shop, tennis court, beach volleyball, pool and hot tub. CALM interative Visitors Centre, kayak and boat hire as well as many walks, tours and cruises.

Shared Ensuites – Twin or Family Ensuites

Park Home Units

Ideal budget family accommodation, each with one double bed and two bunk beds – six place settings, crockery, cutlery, glasses. There is a small kitchenette with an electric grill/hot plate, sink, refrigerator, toaster and kettle. Some of the Park Homes have ensuites, for the rest we have clean and modern amenitites which are situatied in close proximity. Linen is provided free of charge

Camping Ground

All facilities provided throughout the Resort and Dolphin Lodge are accessible to campers. Clean and modern amenities are provided and situated in close proximity.

Caravan Park

A clean, modern caravan park with some beachfront bays. All bays have power and water. There is a minimal fee per night power hook-up charge. Modern bathroom and toilet blocks are strategically situated throughout the Park. Rates are based on two adults sharing. Children 7-12 half price. Children 6 years and under free of charge.
