Malanda Lodge Motel, Malanda

Situated on eleven acres of lush native lawns and tropical gardens Malanda Lodge Motel offers something very different and rewarding. View platypus in the early morning or at dusk in the mountain creek bordering the property, spotlight the possums or simply go for a walk around the gardens. Offering 17 three and a half star motel rooms all with great views, own ensuite, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, reverse cycle air conditioning, and free cable television. Each sleep up to four people comfortably.

Malanda Lodge has a romantic fireside restaurant “The Country Breeze Restaurant”, located poolside featuring fine a la carte dining with Chef Andy. Relax in the cocktail bar whilst enjoying your favourite beverage. In summer the restaurant is very cool and inviting and in winter far away from the hot and humid conditions of coastal towns. A relaxing high country feel prevails about the place for those special cosy romantic nights.

Ideal for the corporate or small conference is the meeting room, for that different type of wedding (restaurant seats up to 100 people comfortably) or just simply, a get-away from it all overnight stay. Close to Cairns but so far away and only three hours drive from Townsville your hosts John and Susan Conde look forward to welcoming you to the Lodge and their special piece of Paradise.

Their motto is ‘Where nothing’s a problem and everything’s a pleasure’.

Malanda Lodge Motel, the cool place to wine, dine and stay.
