Jongebloed B&B is located on 3 acres in South Gippsland. It is a restored 1920s house built by the owner’s grandfather. All rooms have antique furniture and en suites and the house has wide verandahs, a large lounge and a games room for relaxing. The rural outlook is most appealing. * Melbourne – 120 kilometres * Wonthaggi – 2.5 kilometres * Philip Island – 25 kilometres * Inverloch – 10 kilometres * Harmers Haven – 3 kilometres The area is noted for its surf and secluded bay beaches, providing the opportunity for a variety of activities. Wonthaggi nature walks through pristine vegetation are close by. Beth, the owner, provides a delicious cooked breakfast which usually sees people through until dinner, although cafes throughout the area serve a wide variety of excellent foods. Local wines can be found at some dining venues. Hotels, clubs and restaurants usually satisfy most palates. Antique shops, art galleries and wineries can be found locally . Country markets within easy reach, occur most weekends. Reading and relaxing may be what you are after. Jongebloed is the place for this too..
