Kingswood Camp Centre, Warwick

Kingswood Camp Centre is a budget type complex, which can accommodate up to 136 people. It is set on 40 acres of rural land only five minutes from the heart of Warwick. It caters for groups or individuals in family or bunk accommodation with 25 bedrooms in cabins, all having shared amenities with disabled facilities available. A self-contained unit (part of homestead) accommodating four adults is also available.

The property is suitable for conferences, retreats, team building or for that special function such as a wedding, birthday or family reunion. The two meeting halls with a seating capacity of 250 or 90 people also function as a sports and common room. For individuals, bed and breakfast can be arranged. For groups of 20 or more full catering is provided. The large dining room and kitchen can cater for 250 at each sitting.

Tennis and volleyball court with large playing field allowing ball games together with bush walking are there for the enjoyment of all. Pool and table tennis tables with darts, indoor bowls keep the children and adults entertained. Swimming pool, ropes course, archery and orienteering are all on the drawing board. First aid officer’s available on property together with all the amenities of large town close at hand.

Tourist sites including the heritage trail of Warwick together with its Art Gallery, cinema, and shopping centre are within walking distance. Only short distances further away are Queen Mary Falls, Cunningham’s Gap, Spicer’s Gap and Stanthorpe fruit and wine drives. Close by are Leslie and Connelly Damns, which offer swimming, boating and recreational fishing.

There is a variety of birdlife together with wallabies, foxes and hares that are abundant on this nature strip called Kingswood.

Bookings are essential. Bring pillows, sleeping bags or blankets.
